Bitcoin- Elon Musk’s aerospace company’s reserves turned out to be larger than estimated by companies tracking blockchain transactions. According to data from Applications At the IPO, SpaceX held 18,712 coins worth $1,45 billion, which it acquired at an average price of $35,320 per BTC. For comparison, analysts at Arkham statedthat Musk’s brainchild holds only 8,285 bitcoins in its accounts.

SpaceX began buying Bitcoin in early 2021. Around the same time, Musk’s other company, Tesla, also began investing in the flagship cryptocurrency. The electric car maker currently holds 11,509 BTC, according to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. This figure also exceeds evaluation BitcoinTreasuries.NET and the cryptoanalytics company Arkham.
