Updated: 09.02.2021

Founder Pulse Scott Lewis tweeted that the founders is permanently banned from accessing their services.

Lewis described the reasons for the decision, which included threats of physical violence against him, as well as «falsely admitting a member of our team was a criminal and claiming he would be immediately arrested.»

The founder also said that in 1inch repeatedly harassed numerous team members and violated “no contact” requests.

In contrast, the aggregator’s official Twitter account accused Lewis of ignoring the project because it was «creating something that competes with our aggregator.»

Hello @defipulse! This is our second official request to enable a liquidity protocol 1inch to your service! DeFi — this is freedom, and you should not ignore our project with a total locked value of over $2 billion just because your founder (Scott) is creating a project that competes with our aggregator.

Co-founder and CEO 1inch Sergey Kunz also commented Lewis tweeted:

What is this anyway?! Threats of physical harm?! You mean ETHDenver2019, where I extended my hand to you to forget everything that happened before and start collaborating? And you refused with the words: “Leave me alone…”? Your CTO attacked us with a DoS, we were forced to publicly release the details to stop it.
