The update includes three major changes. These include a redesigned trading engine and updated smart contracts called CTF Exchange V2. The new engine verifies and matches orders more efficiently, using less gas and speeding up trade processing.
Additionally, stablecoin polymarket USD will replace Circle’s USDC.e, which was previously used as the platform’s primary collateral. The transition process will be simple for regular users. polymarket will send a one-time notification with an offer to convert your existing USDC or USDC.e into polymarket USD.
