Strategy announced that it had acquired 3,273 Bitcoin for approximately $255 million. The purchase was accomplished at an average price of $77,906 per share and was fully funded through the sale of 1,451,601 shares of MSTR Class A common stock in an open market offering.

Strategy’s 818,334 BTC represents 3,9% of the fixed supply of 21 million bitcoins. Saylor has repeatedly emphasized, that this is a long-term structural rate and not a trading position.
The purchase, completed on April 27, marks Strategy’s fourth acquisition in April alone. Previously, the editorial staff Happy Coin News Reported, that from April 13 to 19, the company purchased 34,164 BTC worth $2,54 billion, which was its third-largest single purchase ever.
Strategy, formerly known as MicroStrategy, launched an aggressive Bitcoin accumulation strategy in 2020 under the leadership of co-founder Michael Saylor.
