The Sui project will lead the issuance, with 44,81 million SUI tokens entering the market this week, worth nearly $7,05 million. This represents approximately 1,13% of the adjusted issued supply of the digital asset. JUP follows, unlocking 53,47 million tokens worth $9,77 million, representing 1,47% of the total supply.
The SIGN team plans to issue a total of 401,11 million tokens worth approximately $7,05 million. This represents approximately 20,78% of the total supply, making it the highest percentage of tokens unlocked in a week. EIGEN will add 36,82 million assets worth $6,70 million, representing 7,01%. OMNI will unlock 7,99 million tokens worth $5,38 million. GUN will issue 354,39 million assets worth $5,30 million.
The largest linear token this week will be RAIN, which will unlock 9,5 billion assets (1,99%) worth $71,65 million. Solana will issue 465,700 SOL (0,08%) worth $40,55 million, TRUMP will issue 6,33 million memecoins (2,72%) worth $16,58 million. Worldcoin will add 37,23 million tokens (1,13%) worth $9,70 million.
Given the current volatility in the crypto market, exacerbated by Bitcoin’s $2000-$3000 price swings, expanding supply could depress the price of crypto assets. Furthermore, let’s not forget that some of the unlocked assets will go to crypto project team members who will want to sell them. This will create additional pressure on the price.
