Metaplanet, which is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, now holds a total of 40,177 BTC worth $4,18 billion, with an average price of $104,106 per coin.
The company also reported a 2,8% Bitcoin yield for 2026. This metric tracks the cryptocurrency’s per-share growth, not treasury income.
Metaplanet separately announced on operating revenue for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 in the amount of 2,97 billion Japanese yen (approximately $18,6 million) from Bitcoin Income Generation. This division uses strategies with options on Bitcoin, backed by collateral, within a special portfolio separated from long-term BTC holdings.
